Special Operations Agency LLC and its' Bail Enforcement / Fugitive Recovery Agents or able to represent you and act on your behalf in accordance with §19.2-149 of the Code of Virginia; to apprehend and surrender your skips.

19.2-149 - How surety on a bond in recognizance may surrender principal and be discharged from liability.

A bail bondsman or his licensed bail enforcement agent on a bond in a recognizance may at any time arrest his principal and surrender him to the court before which the recognizance was taken or before which such principal's appearance is required, or to the sheriff, sergeant or jailer of the county or city wherein the court before which such principal's appearance is required is located; in addition to the above authority, upon the application of the surety, the court, or the clerk thereof, before which the recognizance was taken, or before which such principal's appearance is required, shall issue a capias for the arrest of such principal, and such capias may be executed by such bail bondsman or his licensed bail enforcement agent, or by any sheriff, sergeant or police officer, and the person executing such capias shall deliver such principal and such capias to the sheriff or jailer of the county or the sheriff, sergeant or jailer of the city in which the appearance of such principal is required, and thereupon the surety or the property bail bondsman shall be discharged from liability for any act of the principal subsequent thereto. Such sheriff, sergeant or jailer shall thereafter deliver such capias to the clerk of such court, with his endorsement thereon acknowledging delivery of such principal to his custody.

- Fugitive Recovery is minimum 10% of bond

Special Operations Agency LLC can represent you and act on your behalf in accordance to law; to apprehend and surrender your skips. Fugitive recovery is a minimum 10% of the posted bond and expenses incurred for the arrest of the subject.

- Expenses Negotiable

There is a $150 non-refundable deposit to begin any case. This deposit is used for operational expenses such as fuel and office expenses. All cases outside the Hampton Roads Metro area will incur additional expenses. These expenses are negotiable on a case by case bases. Out of state fugitive recoveries will be agreed upon by both parties prior to travel.

Taylor v. Taintor

HB 2437 - Regulation of bail bondsmen. Provides that a licensed bail bondsman shall not charge less than 10 percent or more than 15 percent of the amount of the bond for a bail bond premium and shall not loan money with interest for the purpose of helping another obtain a bail bond. A bail bond premium is defined as the amount of money paid to a licensed bail bondsman for the execution of a bail bond.

HB 2450 - Establishment of pretrial services agencies. Removes the mandatory requirement that any city, county or combination thereof that is required to submit a community-based corrections plan also establish a pretrial services agency, but preserves the permissive authority for any city, county or combination thereof to establish a pretrial services agency.

HB 2158 - Bonds in recognizances. Provides that bonds in recognizances in criminal or juvenile cases, whether the violation is committed against the Commonwealth or the locality, shall be payable to the jurisdiction where the recognizance was taken. Current law provides that such bonds in recognizances are paid to the Commonwealth of Virginia when the violation is committed against the Commonwealth.
